Write

The Freelance Pinoy welcomes writers, designers, and other types of freelancers who wish to write for the blog as a “guest blogger”. By being published on the blog, you achieve three things:

  1. Giving your fellow Pinoy freelancers good advice and a helping hand to succeed in their freelance careers
  2. Branding of your name, your freelancing services, and your website (if any)
  3. Positioning yourself as an expert in your field

What We’re Looking For

We usually are open to all possible article proposals, but in a nutshell we’re looking for the following:

  • Quality articles written primarily for the Filipino freelancing audience
  • Mind-provoking yet insightful articles about freelancing and everything to do with this marvelous career path
  • Articles listing down tools, apps, and other resources that Filipino freelancers can use for their projects
  • Reviews of particular freelancing tools, books, services, and the like
  • Interviews of notable freelancers around the country

Not Filipino? No problem!

Authors who aren’t Filipinos but who would like to contribute to the blog are very much welcome to guest post as well! Just keep in mind that your audience is mostly Filipino freelancers so your advice, how-to, or review must be applicable to the audience (taxes, filing for disputes, marketing to clients, etc).

Terms and Conditions

As much as we’d love to publish your post immediately on the blog, there are a couple of things you need to take note of before submitting your article.

  • All articles must be original work. We will conduct a plagiarism check before anything else.
  • We will select and schedule articles to be published. If your post is rejected, we will notify you immediately via email.
  • If your guest post is accepted, the editors will immediately edit and schedule your post for publication. If your guest post involves an event that is fast approaching, let us know and we can schedule an earlier publication date for you.
  • Articles with a lot of spelling and grammatical errors will be returned to the author for basic revisions. The author can then resend his article for final review.
  • Your article must already be finished before submitting it to us as a guest post. Unfinished articles with or without severe grammatical errors will automatically be rejected.
  • Make sure to credit all sources, including photos and videos used in the article.
